1 First Steps – Creating a GEE Account

Before you can do any scripting, you’ll first need to create a Google Earth Engine (GEE) Account. I would strongly recommend you using a Gmail account.  If you’re not comfortable using your personal account, create a new one.

Click here to create a GEE account.  From this page, you’ll need to click Get Started in the top right corner.  To go directly to the JavaScript Application Programming Interface (API), go to code.earthengine.google.com.  You’ll have to follow the standard routine of verifying your account.
