15 Conclusion

There you go! Now you know the beginnings of all major cataloging schemata, theories, and systems. You also have had some experience with websites that are designed to help catalogers move swiftly through their work. To ensure that you know all of the major topics covered in this book, here are a few review exercises.

Congratulations! You demonstrated that you know how to use Connexion, WebDewey, and Classification Web separately and together. Furthermore, you demonstrated knowledge of FRBR, RDA, and MARC records. Once again I must acknowledge my gratitude for OCLC for allowing me to include visualizations of the processes for Connexion and WebDewey. Using all of these three systems together can make you a well-rounded and versatile librarian.
